If you think it sounds like a good fit for you, read on to learn more about the details that make this card special.

Benefits of This Card

The Citi Premier Card is one of the best credit cards in town. With a host of benefits, flexible rewards programs and competitive APR, it’s one card you can’t miss.

Rewards Program

One of the key features of the Citi Premier® Card is its rewards program. Cardholders can earn ThankYou® Points after Cardholders spend every purchase within the first months of account opening. These points can be redeemed for a variety of rewards, including travel, merchandise, gift cards, and statement credits. The card also offers bonus points for purchases in select categories, such as gas stations, supermarkets, and restaurants.

Travel Perks

In addition to its rewards program, the Citi Premier® Card also offers a number of other benefits to cardholders. The card offers a variety of travel benefits, such as trip cancellation and interruption coverage, baggage insurance, and travel and emergency assistance.

Flexibility

Another benefit of the Citi Premier® Card is its flexibility. Cardholders can redeem their ThankYou® Points for a wide range of rewards, including travel, merchandise, gift cards, and statement credits. This allows cardholders to choose the reward that best fits their needs and preferences.

Access to Exclusive Events

The Citi Premier® Card also offers a variety of perks and benefits that can make traveling more convenient and enjoyable. For example, cardholders can enjoy access to exclusive events and experiences, such as VIP access to concerts and sporting events. Additionally, the card offers a complimentary concierge service that can help cardholders plan and book travel and other activities.

Eligibility Criteria

If you are a busy person who does not have time to read the guidelines and rules of the premier card then we have come up with the best possible solution for you. We have listed out some of the eligibility criteria which must be present and enjoy the privileges offered by it.

  • Credit Score Requirements: Usually, you need a good to excellent credit score. This means that you should get at least a 670. But the exact credit score that is needed can change depending on the applicant’s income, payment history, and other things.
  • Income requirements: There are no specific income requirements for the Citi Premier Credit Card, but applicants should have a steady source of income and be able to show they can pay back any debt they get.

Other Eligibility Criteria

A good credit score and a steady source of income aren’t the only things you need.

  • Age: To get a card, you have to be at least 18 years old.
  • Legal residency: Applicants must live in the United States legally.
  • Credit History: Applicants should have a good credit history, with no recent late payments, bankruptcies, or other bad marks.
  • Income: Applicants should have a steady way to make money, like a job or running their own business.

Avail of The Citi Premier 60,000 Point Offers before it ends soon!

With Citi Premier’s increased welcome bonus, you get 60,000 bonus points after spending $4,000 on purchases in the first three months after opening the account.

This bonus is worth at least $600 in rewards, and depending on how you use your points, it could be worth even more. That’s more than what cards like the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card and the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card offer right now.

What Premier Card gives you

So, if you don’t mind those limits, let’s get to the fun stuff! In terms of travel protection, you shouldn’t really compare the Citi Premier to the Chase Sapphire Preferred. This is because they stopped giving it to Citi Premier a while ago. This means that I wouldn’t use Citi Premier to book airline travel, even though it gives 3X ThankYou points for booking travel. This is because the card wouldn’t help if something goes wrong during or before your trip.

What you get are these:

  1. 3x the money for eating out
  2. Earning 3x on travel, 3x on groceries, and 3x on gas
  3. 1 point for every other purchase

This card has a good case for being at the top of your everyday pile because you can earn 3X points at grocery stores and gas stations. This is the same as getting at least 3% back on every dollar you spend. It’s also good for travel and dining, especially since the Chase Sapphire Preferred only gives you 2X points on those.

How to get the welcome bonus from Citi Premier

You are not eligible for the Citi Premier bonus offer if you have received a new cardmember bonus from or closed any of the following cards in the past 24 months:

  1. Citi Rewards+
  2. Citi ThankYou Premier/Citi Premier
  3. Citi ThankYou Preferred Card
  4. Citi Prestige

Conclusion

Overall, the Citi Premier Card is a great choice for consumers who are looking for a rewards credit card that offers a wide range of benefits and rewards. With its generous rewards program, competitive APR, and flexible redemption options, this card is well-suited for consumers who want to earn rewards on their everyday spending.

However, it’s important to note that Citi Premier Card does have an annual fee of $95. And it’s also important to consider if the rewards earned offset the annual fee before applying for the card. Additionally, the card requires a good or excellent credit score to be approved, so it may not be the best option for consumers with less-than-perfect credit.
